Setting up and Connecting​

  1. Open this page on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

  2. Save our iOS Shortcut by clicking here

  3. Select the blue "Get Shortcut" button (The Apple Shortcuts app will open)

  4. Select "Add Shortcut"

  5. Select the three dots in the upper-right of the shortcut bubble (Just above the shortcuts name) to edit the shortcut

  6. Read the comments at the top of the shortcut, then add your TTL API key (Not your GOVEE API key) to the first "Text" field. (Note: You have to create an automation with a trigger of "iOS" to receive an API key)

  7. Select "Done" in the upper-right to save the shortcut

  8. Tap the shortcuts name from the Apple Shortcuts homepage to run it

  9. When prompted Allow "TTLxGOVEE | Siri Shortcuts API Client" to connect to "govee.tinkertechlab.com", choose "Allow"

Adding to your Home Screen​

  1. Select the three dots in the upper-right of the shortcut bubble (Just above the shortcuts name) to edit the shortcut

  2. Select the dropdown arrow to the left of the shortcuts name at the top of the screen (Between the shortcuts name and the Done button)

  3. Select "Add to Home Screen" from the dropdown menu

  4. (Recommended) Tap the smaller of the two icons that appear to change how the icon will show on your homescreen

  5. (Recommended) Tap the x button to the right of the shortcuts name, then enter the name you wish to appear on your home screen

  6. Select "Add" to add the shortcut to your home screen (You can move it between pages and folders just like any other app)
